Tell them how long a typical visit takes.

People hesitate to book when they do not know if the visit is 20 minutes or half a day. Put a plain time range on your service or contact page.

People want to know how long they will be there before they book.

If your site only lists the service name and the price, they still have a gap. They do not know if it is twenty minutes or an hour or half a day. That gap makes some people wait. Others call someone who already answered the question.

Put a plain time range next to the service

Oil change about 45 minutes. Consult about 30 minutes. Install 2 to 3 hours. Haircut about 45 minutes. Color 2 to 3 hours. Same idea for a plumber visit, a dental cleaning, or a fitness intro.

Say it on the service page. Say it on the contact page if that is where they decide. A short line is enough. You don't need a long FAQ.

Be honest when it varies

Most visits run 45 to 60 minutes. Bigger jobs take longer, and we will tell you before we start. That kind of line builds trust. A fake exact number does the opposite.

If you have two versions of a service, spell out both. Quick oil change about 30 minutes. Full service about an hour. People plan lunch breaks, childcare, and rides around this stuff.

You already know the timing from your day. Put it where they can read it before they call.

If you want service pages that say how long a visit takes before someone books, talk with Hexacomb. You run the business. We take care of your website.

What should the site be bringing in?

New business, or one whose website went quiet. Say what you do, the towns you cover, and drop the link if you have one. I write back from Clovis, usually within a day. The first note is about your jobs, not a list of packages.
